[[Honest Bob And The Factory-To-Dealer Incentives – Hey]]

Hey, I saw you standing, I saw you smile
You look enchanting, let’s dance for a while
For a while

Hey, I know it ain’t easy, I know it’s hard
You leave yourself open, you’re gonna get scarred
Yeah I’m still scarred

I love everybody, I love you
You’re the only friend I got I wanna do stuff to

Hey, you took my soda, you stole my fries
I thought you were honest, but then I got wise
Yeah I got wise

Hey, let’s take a vacation, just me and you
Cause I got a secret and you have one too
Yeah you do

I hate everybody, I love you
We could save the world but we’ve got better things to do

Push me up and pull me down, kiss me underground
Throw me off and watch me drown, fill my head with sound
Push me up and pull me down, kiss me underground
Throw me off and watch me drown, fill my head with sound

You can fill my head with sound
You can fill my head with sound
You can fill my head with sound
My head with sound

[[Deep Purple – Clearly Quite Absurd]]

After all we said today the strangest thought occurred
I feel I ought to tell you but it’s clearly quite absurd
Wouldn’t it be wonderful if you could read my mind
Imagine all the stuff that we could leave behind
How many words you waste before you’re understood
Or simply sow some seeds, you’d do it if you could
Let me take a moment of your time
Inside your mind

I know what you’re thinking but I don’t know what to say
The turmoil and the conflict, you don’t have to feel this way
Look into my eyes and feel my hand upon your heart
Holding us together, not tearing us apart
How many words we waste to justify a crime
Compare it to an act of love that really takes no time
Why not take a moment to unwind
Inside your mind

How many words I waste that you don’t want to hear
Why not sit in silence while the muddy waters clear
Why not take a moment to unwind
Inside your mind

After all we said today the strangest thought occurred
I feel I ought to tell you but it’s clearly quite absurd

[[Red Hot Chili Peppers – Snow (Hey Oh)]]

Forza, che non state ascoltando abbastanza!

Come to decide that the things that I tried
Were in my life just to get high on
When I sit alone come get a little known
But I need more than myself this time
Step from the road to the sea to the sky
And I do believe it, we rely on
When I lay it on come get to play it on
All my life to sacrafice
Hey oh listen what I say oh, I got your
Hey oh now listen what I say oh

When will I know that I really can’t go
To the well once more time to decide on
When it’s killing me, when will I really see
All that I need to look inside
Come to believe that I better not leave
Before I get my chance to ride
When it’s killing me, what do I really need
All that I need to look inside
Hey oh listen what I say oh, come back and
Hey oh look at what I say oh
The more I see the less I know
The more I like to let it go…hey oh, whoa

Deep beneath the cover of another perfect wonder
Where it’s so white as snow
Privately divided by a world so undecided
And there’s nowhere to go
In between the cover of another perfect wonder
And it’s so white as snow
Running through a field where all my tracks will
Be concealed and there is nowhere to go

When to descend to amend for a friend
All the channels that have broken down
Now you bring it up, I’m gonna ring it up
Just to hear you sing it out
Step from the road to the sea to the sky
And I do believe what we rely on
When I lay it on, come get to play it on
All my life to sacrifice
Hey oh listen what I say oh, I got your
Hey oh listen what I say oh
The more I see the less I know
The more I’d like to let it go…hey oh whoa

Deep beneath the cover of another perfect wonder
Where it’s so white as snow
Privately divided by a world so undecided
And there’s nowhere to go
In between the cover of another perfect wonder
Where it’s so white as snow
Running through the field where all my tracks
Will be concealed and there is nowhere to go
I said hey hey yeah, oh yeah tell my love now
Hey hey yeah, oh yeah tell my love now
Deep beneath the cover of another perfect wonder
Where it’s so white as snow
Privately divided by a world so undecided
And there’s nowhere to go
In between the cover of another perfect wonder
Where it’s so white as snow
Running through the field where all my tracks
Will be concealed and there is nowhere to go
I said hey hey yeah, oh yeah tell my love now
Hey hey yeah,

[[The Police – Synchronicity I]]

Questa è la canzone della frustrazione.

Another suburban family morning
Grandmother screaming at the wall
We have to shout above the din of our rice crispies
We can’t hear anything at all
Mother chants her litany of boredom and frustration
But we all know her suicides are fake
Daddy only stares into the distance
There’s only so much more that he can take
Many miles away
Something crawls from the slime
At the bottom of a dark
Scottish lake

Another industrial ugly morning
Tha factory belches filth into the sky
He walks unhindered through the picket lines today
He doesn’t think to wonder why
The secretaries pout and preen like cheap tarts in a red light street
But all he ever thinks to do is watch
And every so called meeting with his so called superior
Is a humiliating kick in the crotch
Many miles away
Something crawls to the surface
Of a dark Scottish loch

Another working day has ended
Only the rush hour hell to face
Packed like lemmings into shiny metal boxes
Contestants in a suicidal race
Daddy crips the wheel and stares alone into the distance
He knows that something somewhere has to break
He sees the family home now looming in his headlights
The pain upstairs that makes his eyeballs ache
Many miles away
There’s a shadow on the door
Of a cottage on the shore
Of a dark Scottish lake

Many miles away
Many miles away
Many miles away
Many miles away
Many miles away…

[[Imogen Heap – Hide And Seek]]

where are we?
what the hell is going on?
the dust has only just begun to form
crop circles in the carpet
sinking, feeling

spin me ‘round again
and rub my eyes,
this can’t be happening
when busy streets a mess with people
would stop to hold their heads heavy

hide and seek
trains and sewing machines
all those years
they were here first

oily marks appear on walls
where pleasure moments hung before the take over
the sweeping insensitivity of this still life

hide and seek
trains and sewing machines (you won’t catch me around here)
blood and tears
they were here first

ooom what’dcha say,
emmm that you only meant well?
well of course you did
ooom what’dcha say,
emmm that’s all for the best?
of course it is
emmm what’dcha say?
hmmm that it’s just what we need
you decided this
mmmm what’dcha say?
hmmm what did she say?

ransom notes keep falling out your mouth
midsweet talk, newspaper word cut outs
speak no feeling
no, i don’t believe you
you don’t care a bit,
you don’t care a bit

(hide and seek)
ransom notes keep falling out your mouth
midsweet talk, newspaper word cut outs

(hide and seek)
speak no feeling
no, I don’t believe you
you don’t care a bit,
you don’t care a bit

(hide and seek)
oh no, you don’t care a bit
oh no, you don’t care a bit

(hide and seek)
oh no, you don’t care a bit
you don’t care a bit
you don’t care a bit

Home western
